This year, we spent Thanksgiving at home and were fortunate to have some new friends join us. Mary Ann, Martin, and 15-month-old Emmett brought just the right amount of warmth and excitement to the house. Sarah stressed for days beforehand about Emmett playing with her toys, but, when he arrived, she was gracious and big-sisterly. She showed Martin and "Baby Emmett" her field guides and read a book to Emmett. It was a lovely afternoon.
